Room decoration: finishing touch

It's been almost a year since I finished renovation/redesign of my room (you can see process here and result here). The original plan was to leave one wall totally blank (and free from furniture), and to decorate the opposite one with some picture exposition.
So, creation of that "exposition" finally took place a couple of weekends ago.

With a new picture shelf my room now looks like this:

The shelf and new bed sheets are, of course, from Ikea :)

It's a good feeling to have some creative project finished. Especially if it is so tightly connected with everyday comfort, coziness and feeling of home.

Photos are printed and framed, I am content (such a rare occasion!) and ready to move on to new home-related projects =)

Wow, it's really been a long time :)
Yes, I get it - with such regularity in my posts I probably will never have decent amount of followers.  I guess I'll just have to live with it.
To be honest, my crochet is in a slump right now.
And this little project was finished relatively quickly (just a couple of weeks, ha) only because it's a birthday gift to my friend.  Who, obviously, likes minions. =)

...And here's the result. I used this as an inspiration, but preferred to give him two eyes.

Good news one: it fits nicely, good news two: my friend was quite delighted with the surprise. Win!
